At Heroes Assist, we recognise the deep impact of mental health on life after service. Our approach is person centred and grounded in lived experience, offering tailored support that addresses both emotional and psychological wellbeing.
We provide one on one emotional support that’s responsive to individual needs and connect individuals with professional, trauma informed counselling services. For those experiencing anxiety, depression or trauma, we facilitate access to therapy with allied health professionals, whether through DVA or NDIS funding.
Support also includes practical tools for managing stress and emotional overwhelm, such as mindfulness, grounding exercises and structured coping techniques. We offer peer support and group therapy for those who benefit from shared experience and connection, as well as resilience coaching and life skills development to build confidence and emotional strength.
Mental health care is ongoing and we remain committed through regular check ins and adjustments to ensure continued relevance and support. Families and carers are also supported with information and guidance to better understand and care for their loved ones.
At Heroes Assist, we believe mental health is just as important as physical health and we’re here to help individuals not only manage but thrive.
If you or someone you know is struggling with emotional well being, contact us today to find out how we can provide tailored support to help you on your journey towards recovery and stability.
We acknowledge the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the Traditional Owners of Country and recognise their ongoing connection to the lands, waters, and communities. We pay our respect to Elders past, present, and emerging.
